scratched lens

hey kids.. is there any way to fix a scratched lens? i've got an ELMO 311 that's been very kind to me over the past year and i hate to throw it our just because the lens is scratched.. any help is greatly appreciated.

You could replace the lens. There is a guy that has worked on my cameras and he is great. His name is Irv Higdon in California his number is 1-800-318-3259. Tell him Adam sent you.

I really dont know if this will work or not, but there is a 'cleaning' substance that you can get which fixes (almost magically) scratched CD's. You simply wipe it over it.
Perhaps this stuff might help, Afraid I cant remember whats its called. If you do it, be carefful though and please dont blame me if it trashes your lens. (perhaps you could try it out on a test...)
